A family-run valeting and restoration business in Mansfield Woodhouse, working from the same fully equipped unit since 1999. Private customers and trade, cars through to motorhomes.
The same family, the same unit, since 1999
The Valet Man was established in 1999 and has been run by the same family ever since. Twenty-seven years of valeting vehicles of every shape and size sits behind the work, from the family SUV through to motorbikes, sports cars, HGVs and motorhomes.
The unit at Old Mill Lane Industrial Estate is fully equipped, which matters more than it sounds. Working indoors means the weather never decides what finish your car gets, and it is what allows the slower jobs - machine polishing, wheel refinishing, ceramic coating, dry ice blasting - to be done properly rather than rushed.
What we work on
We clean everything on wheels: the family SUV, motorbikes, sports cars, vans and 4x4s, through to HGVs and motorhomes. Size is rarely the problem - it changes the quote and the time we set aside, not whether we will take it on.
What we use
Professional equipment throughout, and products from Diamondbrite and Autoglym. The Autoglym bacteria cleaning solution is what goes on the interior surfaces in a Mini Valet, and the Diamondbrite system is what we apply when someone wants the paint protected long-term.
Valeting and restoration under one roof
Plenty of places will wash a car. Fewer will also correct the paint, refinish a kerbed alloy or strip an engine bay back with dry ice. Because we do valeting and restoration from the same unit, work that would otherwise mean two businesses and two trips can be handled in one booking.
